July 19 musing numbers going up...as predicted yesterday the stock market is up and so is the temperature. We're havin' a heat wave...40 of 50 states will have temperatures above 90, nearing 100 from NYC to DC. So, instead of staying where it's cool and safe, some are headin' to the beach and may end-up hot and sorry.

Aloe Vera on skin (straight from the plant is best), shaving cream, apple cider vinegar on skin , cool shower, baking soda mixed with water (compresses or in a bath), cold compresses of milk, chilled oatmeal on skin...to avoid a bad burn, rub a tomato on your skin before sunbathing and manuka honey heals the after-burn. However, the best soother I know is cool Milk of Magnesia applied to the skin for instant relief.
