July 13 musing the news in my personal #5 unconventional, surprising day, brought me to oddities and a possible disaster: Hitler gave blow-up dolls to soldiers, Real Estate salespeople using ghost hunters, man jailed for throwing peanuts at a flight attendant, Sri Lanka is having an elephant census, man dropped his pants on a bus and was arrested for a hate crime, Moscow has a very weird sex museum that you've got to read about somewhere else...it's indescribable in this blog and Kim Kardashian, Scarlet Johanson, Kate Winslet and eight or ten other actors who cannot hold candle to Elizabeth Taylor, being considered to play her in a Martin Scorsese BIG film about Richard Burton and Elizabeth's unconventional loving, boozing, fighting and making-up lifestyle.
My surprise for today...August 3 Social Security checks are threatened - may not go out - if problems are not resolved and the Debt Ceiling isn't reached. According to President Obama on Thursday evening's CBS Evening News, there may not be enough money in the coffers to cover seventy million disability, veteran and senior citizen checks. The President's announcement is unconventional - seems impossible in the USA - and to me, surprising. Surprising! No, that's a Republican-Tea Party in-fight disaster! That's the Blog and here come tomorrow's forecasts...
